7. Herodion and Gush Etsion

 
Old and new history in Judea, south of Jerusalem. Starting at the olive tree statue at Ramat Rachel, from there to the un believable palace built by Herod and then getting wet in the underground aqueduct of Biyar, part of the water supply to Jerusalem. The tour ends with the tragic story of Gush Etzion and it's revival, at the symbolic oak tree and the heritage museum at Kfar Etzion.
